RE: Repairing Amber Monitor - shane.crozier - 21-06-2026 Some photos of the inside of the monitor before I started working on it - Lots of dirt to clean up - and a scrub of the pcb's with a ESD safe brush. I think this monitor may have been rescued from the TIP or an eWaste collection centre given the liquid ingress marks on the inside of the case RE: Repairing Amber Monitor - shane.crozier - 26-06-2026 (21-06-2026, 01:26 AM)shane.crozier Wrote: Some photos of the inside of the monitor before I started working on it - A good scrub with a non-conductive toothbrush, Kleanium, fiddling with trim pots and a bit of luck and the picture seems to be a little shaky, but 99% better Let's call it a work in progress, this Amber monitor is the same as my childhood Bee, so I couldn't be happier. RE: Repairing Amber Monitor - MbeeTech - 30-06-2026 Great work Shane. Nice result. |
