Basically the same as before, first screen flashes a couple times and then "No Video". I get no numbers at all.

I'm thinking this is a sync issue (see my reply in the other thread again) as you are only setting # displayed characters and not the full CRTC table.
Only setting the displayed character registers will (most likely, depending on the previous screen mode used) leave some timing registers incorrect for 64*16 mode.

Bingo, all looks good now and games works, well only got to level 2. Initial screen now has a 3 top left corner again.

I've just tried it with Ubee512 and it plays great.

Just confirming, tried it on a Microbee Premium Plus this morning and plays well.
I got to level 3 but it froze.
The use of colours is really good, and the sound works well.

Great stuff Under4MHz!
Since you're running in 64x16 screen mode, it would be much appreciated if you double the horizontal pixel resolution of your PCGs to give them some extra pizazz.

For some unknown reason, some members cant download or even see attachments. Generally its some setting at the users end that needs changing. Try loging out and then see if you can. Also, check Messenger.
