Oh well, I'm sure I'm not alone in ruing the throwing out of something that was taking up too much space I've occasionally looked around the airwaves for RTTY broadcasts. Here in Melbourne in the 80's there was a regular wednesday night RTTY broadcast from the WIA and then afterwards there was a group that shared RTTY art / pictures. I recorded quite a lot of the RTTY pic broadcasts and have them on file. I had made up a RTTY transceiver that was connected to the Bee's parallel port and wrote my own software for it. At the time I was a licensed (Limited) amateur but have since let my license lapse (VK3XNC) RE: Hi from Lew - Ernest - 05-02-2021 (05-02-2021, 11:21 AM)ejwords Wrote:Thanks for the picture EWAN,(05-02-2021, 01:27 AM)Ernest Wrote: Thanks Ewan for giving me the confidence that the B-ETI would work on a unmodified Mainboard, I decided to drop a BETI PROM into my MB1656 Coreboard in place of the v54 D-Boot ROM and fired it up. I think you will find the SRAM on your MB1732 will have had a minor board alteration to place the SRAM in memory space of D800h - DFFFh just under the B-ETI ROM address. No changes need for the 56k as it already has SRAM all the way up to E000h the B-ETI start address. The !ROM SEL will also be set for address E000h. I also was a Radio amateur back in the eighties (VK6WM) however also let my license expire as family life took over the priorities. Ernest |
