Turbo Modula-2 disk and manual for the Microbee - ChickenMan - 05-01-2021
The Modula-2 language was designed in 1980 by Niklaus Wirth. While Modula-2 provides the powerful data and statement structures of Pascal, it also incorporates a modular structure as well as basic facilities for multi-programming applications. Turbo Modula-2 is Borland's practical implementation of Modula-2, released in 1986. It follows closely the definition of standard Modula-2 as defined by N. Wirth in his book, Programming in Modula-2. However, it differs from Modula-2 in two main areas: It has an easy-to-use I/O library and optional extensions.
This version of Turbo Modula-2, ver 1.0 for CP/M, has been configured for the Microbee and compliments the FTL Modula-2 that is already in the Repository. Its on a auto booting 3.5" disk.
A manual, 598 pages long, was also located on the internet but it needed substantial clean-up. It had also been in a 2 ring binder, unfortunately the punch holes had removed some of the text on some of the pages.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Languages folder, we placed
