Microbee & Vintage articles from Australian Micro Computerworld Magazine - ChickenMan - 06-09-2022
Thanks to decryption at archive.org for making available a few Australian computer magazines that I've never heard of before. In 1983 it was known as Australian Microcomputer Magazine, then early 1984 it changed its name to Australian Micro Computerworld. They were produced by Computerworld Pty Ltd, Crows Nest, NSW.
There were a number of articles about Australian Computer manufacturing, which naturally featured the Microbee but many others I had not known about before. A few were more assemblers than design and manufacture. But I picked out another 4 companies (Dewhirst, L&L_Australia, RDM_Computers, System_One) that were definitely designing and manufacturing their computers here in Australia. Very little information in other magazines of these were found, except for a couple in ETI so if anyone has any further information about these companies and what they produced so be gratefully accepted.
The complete articles listing the Australian manufactured computers were also extracted.
