Possible Screen resolutions - Under4Mhz - 11-09-2022

What are the possible screen resolutions for Microbee:

64x16
80x24?
64x32?

I'm running my games at 64x16. The boot disk runs at 80x24 (or 25?).

Is it possible to put it into 64x32 mode?

The reason I ask, most other platforms use 8x8 tiles and using a 64x32 mode would make porting games easier (16 rows is generally too few).

64 x 32 should be possible.  This uses the maximum screen ram (2048 bytes) and would have to have a character height of 8 scan lines.
You would have to have the 6545 in 64 x 16 mode and reprogram the 6545 registers R4 (Vert total), R6 (Vert Displayed), R7 (Vert Sync Position) and
R9 (#scan lines -1 for each character cell) to suit.
