System-80 MK2 Business Computer & SCAP Brochures and advert - ChickenMan - 02-03-2024
Thanks to kimjohn for making these documents available to be scanned. They were scanned at 300dpi and converted to searchable PDF's as usual. All A4 in size and 6, 4 & 1 pages long respectively.
We already have the system-80_mk2_business_computer_brochure.pdf in the repository but was found to be missing the last page which included descriptions of their SCAP, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Mini Word Processor programs intended for the Mk 2 version of the System-80. This has then been updated and the brochure is now complete.
The SCAP Brochure, dse_at_last_81.pdf, is an earlier version of the one we already have in the Repository.
The advert is a large DSE advert in the Sydney Morning Herald page 8 of their 14th July 1981 edition. It emphasized that Dick Smith sells cheap business computers for less than $1,000 and their programs are written in Australia to suit Australian businesses.
So in the Vintage Repository in the System-80\Documentation\Brochures folder we placed
