Two more Adventure disks for the Microbee - ChickenMan - 07-11-2024 Thanks to our member Warrigal for providing files of all these 13 new games. All were written by Garry Francis from Sydney from 2020 to 2024. More information on each of the games can be found here - https://warrigal.itch.io/ including some other adventures that play directly in your browser. The files consisted of both Infocom .Z3 and .Z5 forms, some in Z5 form only. So these were copied to 2 x DS80 3.5" Microbee disks suitable for 128k Microbees with the Microbee Infocom CP/M Loaders. Disk 1 consist of 7 x Z3 files and is menu driven using the Z3 Microbee Infocom loader. Walk thoughts were also included for most of the adventures, these all came from https://solutionarchive.com/. They also have Maps for most of the games there also. Use ONLY if you really get stumped. Disk 2 contain 3 x Z5 files and the remaining 3 x Z3 files. Unfortunately, the Infocom loader for Z5 files is NOT compatible with either of the 2 Menu programs used on previous Adventure disks. So it just boots to the Shell and you can play each of the games using VEZZA FILENAME.Zx Again, walk thoughts were also included for most of the games. The -garry.002 file lists the actual names of each of the games. So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Games\Adventure we placed these files garry_francis_adventures_d1_ds80.dsk garry_francis_adventures_d2_ds80.dsk |
