The Dataphone (X-3272) is a low cost, high performance
300-baud direct connect data modem designed to allow
personal computers and data terminals to exchange
information over the switched telephone system.
The X-3272 can be used in either "ANSWER" or "ORIGINATE"
modes. The mode is selected by a front-panel switch.
