ReportStar Disk and Manuals for the Microbee - ChickenMan - 18-04-2025
Thanks to MbeeTech for making this disk available to be imaged. A standard DS40 5.25" Microbee disk with no copy protection that imaged 100% error free. A search of the internet for the Manual was successful which were then cleaned up and converted to searchable PDF's as usual. Approx A4 in size and over 250 pages long.
ReportStar was produced by MicroPro, who also produced WordStar, in 1982. This disk is version 1.00. From the manual -
The wide range of tasks you can perform using ReportStar to produce a Report goes well beyond the capabilities of a simple report generator program. There are four separate programs in your ReportStar system, the Quick Report program (which is named "RGEN"), the Report Edit program (named "REDIT"), the Report Print program (named "REPORT"), and the sorting program (named "FORMSORT").
The disk contains an early version of SHELL, INIT and TRANSFER so use Ctrl ESDX to move the cursor around. Disk is suitable for a Microbee 128k and Premium 128k. Sysgen your 56k system for running on these units.
