Adding assembly language code into Microbee BASIC?

Hi all. I was trying to remember all the methods of how to add assembly language code into Microbee BASIC?

i.e. Most of the program in BASIC, but with some assembly language routines added in.

What ways were there? USR, Call or adding to REM statement?
Do you have examples?

Hi markfre, yes  0001 REM DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD and DATA statements at end of program that you poke into the REM line. Then USR(addr). In the Repository there are many resources such as Wildcards books and the Catcher and Online mags with many examples.

YEs as said, you put the code in the first REM line at the start of the Basic program and USR(xxx) to it.

From recollection you could also create an array containing the code and jump to it's address - I dont think I can recall where I saw that used though as variables are dynamically stored in ram;

There is a good resource called the microbee basic software hackers handbook in the repository which covers much of this stuff - might save some time ?
