Replacing B drive with Gotek

I know this maybe a really obvious question but I assume the system is working on a normal floppy OK?
If not you may have a hardware issue with your Coreboard I.E. the WD2793 preventing the FDD of any type functioning.
Is this a Premium system if not then the BN60 is not suitable.
