From my recent purchase of Microbee material there were these 3 Manuals. The manuals are A4 in size and 3, 12 & 29 pages long respectively. Scanned at 600dpi and converted to a searchable PDFs as usual.
Thes 3 programs are produced by Poor Person Software, USA and distributed by Glyphic Software in Australia. They are known mainly for their Write Hand Man program that is used with wordprocessors like Wordstar & Wordbee. All of their programs are general CP/M files that can be configured for various computers, including the Microbee.
Poor Persons Crossword was written by Alan Bomberger in 1983. We have the program in the Repository on the poor_persons_six_pack_d2_ss80.dsk disk. From the manual -
The Poor Person's Crossword Game is an educational game for
children and adults. One part of the package allows interactive
design of 30 word crossword puzzles and another part of the
package presents these puzzles one at a time for the player
to fill in the words based upon the presented definitions.
Poor Persons Menus was written by Alan Bomberger in 1983. We do not have this program, can anyone help there ? From the Manual -
This package is designed to make the design and implementation
of screen oriented applications easy and exciting. An interactive
menu editor makes the layout of menus simple and quick, and a
support library makes application controlled display and reading
of menus easy.
Poor Persons Spread Sheet was written by Alan Bomberger in 1982. We have the program in the Repository on the poor_persons_six_pack_d1_ss80.dsk disk. From the manual -
The Poor Person’s Spread Sheet is a combination of
products. A sophisticated programmable calculator and an
online screen definition system together make a powerful
tool for tasks from financial analysis to basic
calculations. While many of the tasks that the popular
"visiclones" make easy are a bit more difficult with the
Poor Person’s Spread Sheet, the procedure-oriented
programming capabilities, and the custom screen layouts
make tasks that are impossible for the "visiclones" easy.
Also in the Microbee bundle there was Glyphic Software Catalogue (8 pages long) dated 1986 with an accompling letter. The Catalogue includes a full description of all Poor Person Software titles available at the time as well as a price list.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Documentation\Manuals\Games folder we placed

poor_persons_menus_manual.pdf <-- both in the Documentation\Manuals\Software folder
