From my recent purchase of Microbee material there was a disk of DCLONE as well as an original tape. The disk was marked as a backup and was a standard Microbee 5.25" DS40 disk that auto-boots and with no copy protection. The disk imaged 100% error free on a Floppyio. The tape was not imaged because we already have all of the programs in the repository, however, we didnt have a copy of the tapes label.
The programs were written and produced by J G Arnold, date unknown. On the disk is DCLONE.COM which is used to copy Microbee machine code programs to a *.MAC file that are saved to the disk. In BASIC, use RUNM "filename.MAC" to run the program. DCLONL.COM does the same but for tapes that are protected using a Loader first. DCLONM.COM does the same also but for many Mytek tapes. The disk also contains a number of games that have already be extracted. The disk boots to -
The tape also contains CLONE on side A of the tape. This program copies a Microbee tape to tape and also allows amendment, such as making BASIC games auto start when loaded. Bast to use the WAV file in the repository.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Utilities folder we placed
dclone_ds40.dsk
