During my time at Y-Micro in the late 80s and 90s we did get business from Schools looking to upgrade their hardware running PICK OS in libraries (and Microfusion) especlally the addition of tape drives to their systems (I'm sure the librarians got truly bored with backing up to floppy diskette)
PICK was a fussy platform and presented many issues for clone computers and for third party hardware - IT was definitely more like frontier medicine back then...
