As part of the debugging and development of Vibedrone 400, Chickenman exposed me to a range of Microbee Game titles.
Useful tools and fun too.
BUT you get a high score and bye bye - it is a fleeting moment of success.
Cogitating on this and how to better save word bee documents, database information, graphic runs in progress I thought snapshots!
So here is VD400G edition.

Feedback, bug reports, suggestions welcome
SNAP — Saves your entire current session (memory, screen, colours, graphics, CPU state) to a file named yymmddhhmm.400yymmddhhrr.400
. Use it any time you want to freeze exactly where you are — mid-game, mid-document, mid-program — so you can come back to that exact moment later.
LOAD.400 — Loads a previously saved yymmddhhmm.400 file and resumes right where SNAP left off, as if you'd never closed the emulator.

Notes:
- Load the same GAME ROM (if one was active) before using LOAD.400 — the snapshot restores memory contents, not the ROM itself.
- .400 files can be emailed / shared via USB — handy for swapping high scores, mid-game challenges, or in-progress documents with someone else running the same build. Chess anyone?
