Thanks to kimjohn for providing access to these tapes including their cassette labels and inserts. Tapes were recorded at 44.1khz and saved as stereo 16bit WAV files. The Left & Right channels were separated and saved as individual mono files. Once the recordings would load error free, they were down-sampled to 16khz and saved as 8bit WAV files to reduce their size considerably but still remain loadable.
A couple of the tapes were able to load directly into ubee512 as an IC or PC85 error free while others needed noise removal, low frequency filter, some both and some needed manual fixing of small sections of the WAV file to enable them to load error free. For the programs we don't have on a compilation disk, the MWB files is included within the ZIP file. Beedat and Ledgermaster took a lot of work and many re-recordings to recover them.
I'm not sure if Cosmic Fighter was made available from Microbee or not as this copy was on an early Applied Technology labelled tape but just had a large hand written COSMIC on the label.
Ledgermaster is the r version 2.3 rather than the Public Domain version on MBUG disk #22 and Education Disk #7.
Personal Finance Manager was written by Michael Fackerell in 1982.
The Underworld of Kin cassette insert actually has it labelled as Underworld of Kyn and it now also quotes "Underworld of KYN is copyright of DIGITAL CONCEPTS." but is on an original Microworld tape. Underworld of KYN was the official name of the program for the later Commodore 64 version.
There are a couple of EDASM source code files also, including the EPROM Programmer file for the ETI 668.
The program STRESS is a plastics STRESS ANALYSIS PROGRAM written by G. KEAYS in 1987 and 3D-b was written by Jon McCormack and is a 3 DIMENSIONAL SURFACE PRINTER, with a printer being required.
A few of the cassette insert & labels update our existing files also for being more complete or better quality.
So in to MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee/Software/Tapes/Original folder we placed
