Thanks to ejwords for making this manual available to be scanned. It was in standard Microbee A5 format and 20 pages long.
WORK A B is an Authoring system for Teachers written by Steven Robinson in 1983. The computer program is designed to enormously simplify and speed up the creation of computer aided teaching programs IN ANY SUBJECT AREA. It is highly flexible and imposes very few restrictions on teaching sequence design. It allows teachers to prepare advanced assignments for their students. The final program prepared has the ability to back trace previous questions to allow students to review their work. The number and range of correct answers, the scoring overall, as well as in subsections may be controlled.
This manual is already in our Repository, however, this is a latter 2nd edition and given a Catalogue No. of 250-097. Software for this program (original tape files), including the demo mentioned in the manual, is in our Repository already. The Manual was also accompanied with the Tape which had its insert and cassette label scanned, which was missing from the repository.
The name of the program differs slightly also. The original tape has it titled as WORK A BEE, loads as WORK-A B and the manual as WORK A B. When the program is run, its Work a B.
So in the MbeeTech repository in the Microbee\Documentation\Manuals\Education folder we placed
