Thanks to Jeremy for making this available, found as a file on one of his 5.25" Microbee disks that were recently imaged.
This rom is version 2.2 ©1983 S Carter & J Durham released by Glyphic Software and we already have version 2.4 in the Repository. Both are 4k roms and meant for the early Microbees and for the NET socket. You can try it in ubee512 emulator with
ubee512 ic --netrom=beemon_2.2.rom
and when in Basic, type NET <cr> and it starts, with
But with no manual or help file, what does this rom offer, so I thought I would see if some of the commands could be worked out. So far found (xxxx in HEX) :
A xxxx - List memory starting at xxxx in ASCII & Hex
C - Starts PAK 0 - ver 2.4 only
D xxxx - Displays memory starting at xxxx in HEX only
E xxxx - Edits a byte at xxxx and advances to next byte
G xxxx - Goes to xxxx and starts execution
I - Restarts the Monitor
Q - Quits/Exits to Basic - ver 2.4 only
S xxxx - Disassembles memory starting at xxxx
Y - Select Serial/Parallel/Cancel - I assume to select your Printer
@ xxxx - Breaks at xxxx
B, F, H, J, M, V & Z and numbers all give WHAT? when entered, others letters do not so not sure what they do. If anyone works out any more commands, please let us know.
Control C (^C) stops any command running and returns to COMMAND? prompt.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee/Software/ROMs/Miscellaneous folder we placed
beemon_2.2.rom
