Thanks to jeremybh1 for making a scan of this manual available with 40 pages in A5 size and an extra 5 pages in A4 size. It was cleaned up and the missing page 6 was located elsewhere (from an Apple site) and included to complete this Teachers Manual. It also includes the Exercise Book/Diary, Worksheets and Certificate. Unlike other Jacaranda programs that we have, there was only a Teachers Manual made available for this program, no separate Students Manual.
Dinosaur Discovery is an educational adventure game in which the player must navigate a map, collect clues and solve simple word puzzles on their journey to hatch a dinosaur egg. A problem-solving and experiential learning activity that requires a number of reading skills to be applied to a game.
Produced by Jacaranda Willey in Dec 1985 and written by David L Smith. It sold in disk versions only for not only the Microbee, but also the Apple 2 and BBC Micro with the manual common to the 3 computers. Unfortunately we do not have the Microbee version of the software, so if anyone could help there that would be good to complete the archive of this program.
