Thanks to jeremybh1 for making a scan of this manual available. A quality scan A5 in size and 20 pages long.
Designed to allow you to easily locate any programs you have on disk. It was written primarily for the microbee computer, using one or more disk drives. It may be used with other CP/M based computers (operating with a Z80 processor) that have an 80 by 24 VDU format and two (or more) disk drives.
We already have 2 versions of this manual currently in the Repository and this one fits somewhere in between both. So the current version, titled Disk Cataloguing System Manual 2nd Edition.pdf, was renamed Disk Cataloguing System Manual 2nd Edition Reprint.pdf . I haven't fully checked it out but it appears the only difference between the 2 is the front cover.
We have the program also in the Microbee\Software\Applications folder as disk_cataloguing_system_ss80.dsk so check it out as cataloguing your disk collection can make it substantially quicker to find that program your been looking for.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Documentation\Manuals\Software folder we placed
disk_cataloguing_system_manual_2nd_edition.pdf
and
disk_cataloguing_system_manual_2nd_edition_reprint.pdf <-- original 2nd edition re-named to this
