Thanks to murcam for making these disks available, all were bootable 5.25" DS40 Microbee disks that all imaged 100% error free using ubeedisk on my Win XP Pentium 4 and an 80tr 5.25" floppy. These were reported to have come from the aurthors estate, but his/her name is unknown at this point. We already have the main program JOB ver 4.52 © 1983 but these are ver 4.60 © 1985 to Educational Software Pty Ltd. On the disk there are Colour and Monochrome versions as well as JOBED, an editor, for adding, deleting or updating any of the Jobs.
Job contains the details on 1,694 occupations. You make the choices about what you are looking for in a job, and the program then shows you a list of occupations that match. An ideal aid for Careers Teachers. A full description of each Job is provided on 4 additions disks, the program will ask you to put in the appropriate disk in B: drive. There is a disk of the Turbo Pascal source code also of all(?) the programs needed.
Also in the collection were disks each for Victorian and New South Wales courses that were available at University and TAFE Colleges. Once you have chosen your Job, you can now check which Uni or TAFE that has it available. These are dated 1986 or 1988. These are Demo disks and appears you can only use them 24 times, so make a backup first before you use them.
All of these 10 disks had their labels scanned also.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Education folder we placed
job_option_bank_v4.60_ds40.dsk <-- these 5 disks in the one ZIP file
job_text_1_ds40.dsk
job_text_2_ds40.dsk
job_text_3_ds40.dsk
