Thanks to grahaml who tirelessly scanned in these manuals at 600dpi. A4 in size and ranged from 96 to 244 pages long. They were provided as PDF's, so the pages were extracted and cleaned up, centered, de-skewed and converted to searchable PDF's.
TurboDOS is a trademark of and copyrighted to Software 2000 Inc. 1983. Theses are all the First Editions dated September 1983 and 1985 provided by Pulsar Electronics.
TurboDOS is an Operation System for both a Z80 and 8086 cpu's and compared to other microcomputer operating systems, TurboDOS is distinguished by:
. Networking Capability
. CP/M Compatibility
. Superior Performance
. Increased Disk Capacity
. Enhanced Reliability
. Print Spooling
TurboDOS runs virtually any CP/M program without modification and accepts standard CP/M-format disks. TurboDOS is fully compatible with CP/M-80 2.2 and CP/M-86 1.1. In addition, TurboDOS provides compatibility with CP/M Plus 3.1, MP/M II 2.1 and MP/M-86 2.1 in file and record locks, system date and time, and several other selected areas.
TueboDOS 1.3 manuals are virtually non existent on the internet while there are all sorts of v1.4 manuals available. Of the 5 manuals for v1.4 only 3 were provided but the 2 8086 guides were located at Bitsavers. Again, after a cleanup, they are included here as well, to complete the set. A couple of the pages of the Z80 guides had a paragraph that were unreadable, these were repaired from files again from Bitsavers. The TurboDOS_1.4_Synopsis_of_Changes.pdf doc lists the changes in v1.4.
