From my recent purchase of Microbee material, included was an almost complete collection of the Newsletters from the Microbee Users Group of South Australia, Adelaide. Only issue missing was the 1983_09, so can anyone help with filling this missing gap? We currently have only 11 original issues with another 23 issues extracted from MBUG Disks in Wordstar format that were then converted to PDF's. Problem with these were that no graphics were included, text only, not even the front cover, so no circuit diagrams etc. These have now been removed and replaced with original complete full scans and the additional 32 issues to almost complete the collection. All are A4 in size with the first few 8 or 10 pages long but then most were 16 pages with a few at 20 pages. They were not numbered, only dated and issued monthly except there were no January issues. There was no Microbee News 90 03 issue produced due to lak of material to print at the time.
Their last issue was in May 1990 (only 6 pages) before they went over to the PROMPT Newsletter produced by MBUG for many Microbee groups throughout Australia.
Like all the newsletters from all the Microbee user groups, these are full of Whats new, Tips, Tricks, Hardware updates, Tutorials, Program & Book reviews, program Listings and much much more. Most of the clubs appeared to swap Newsletters with one another and they regularly reviewd the top articles from each in their own Newsletter. So all worth a great read for all Microbee users and collectors.
Also, a ZIP file of each years issues were produced to make it easier to download.
So in the Public Repository in the Newsletters\Microbee_News folder we replaced and placed -
microbee_news_83_04.pdf <-- 1st issue April 1983 (currently missing 83_09 issue)
to
microbee_news_84_11.pdf
