From my recent purchase of Microbee material there was an original disk of Swan River Colony and its manual. The disk was a standard Microbee 5.25" DS40 disk thats auto-booting and with no copy protection. The disk imaged 100% error free on a Floppyio. The manual was A5 in size and 42 pages long.
The program was produced by the Schools Computing Branch of the Education Department of Western Australia and released by Wesoft in 1987. It was designed by R Bradley and written by B V Cross, who also wrote Birds of Antarctica, First Fleet and many others. The opening screen is -
Swan River Colony is a collection of information about 1,300 people
who were living in the Swan River Colony, Western Australia, at the
time of the first census in July 1832. The manual is written to
guide first time users through the initial stages of the Swan River
Colony data base.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Education folder we placed
