Microbee Mitac MPC 1000N manual and some pictures

My first PC I bought back in the early 90's was a Microbee labelled Mitac MPC 1000N when they were in financial trouble and selling everything off cheap. My boss at that time, Jim, also bought one as well. On a recent visit to Jim I was given the Manual for these PC's but unfortunately his PC, as well as mine, had disappeared with time. Jim also bought a Microbee M-18 Monitor that supported the Hercules video and I bought a CGA Colour monitor. Jim's M-18 Monitor had survived, which I now have, but my colour monitor had not. Both units came with one 3.5" floppy drive.

The Mitac MPC 1000N was an IBM XT clone with a Intel's 8088-1 cpu running at 4.77MHz or 10MHz and had 768k memory (128k used as a Ram drive), Serial port and Centronics port. Video was switchable between CGA colour or monochrome/Hercules via a switch at the back. It booted to MS-DOS 3.00 off a floppy.

Thanks to MbeeTech for providing photographs of his unit, which has a 5.25" floppy and a hard drive. The manual was then donated to him.
