Thanks to mbeetech for making this manual available to be scanned. Scanned at 300dpi and converted to a searchable PDF as usual. A4 in size and 32 pages long.
While we already have a few different versions of the "MicroWorld Z80 Editor/Assembler" manual (this makes the 9th different version), this one appears to be an early version specifically for the Microbee and titled as an Interim Copy Only.
NOTE: Release deadlines have prevented thorough field testing of the program
prior to its release. Whilst it is believed to be free from errors, you are
requested to advise Applied Technology Pty Ltd of any problems which you may
encounter. We will endeavour to rectify the errors as quickly as possible,
and where practicable, exchange your ROMs for the latest version. This offer
is limited to the initial trial period only.
This package consists of a "line oriented" text editor with automatic line
numbering, an assembler which will generate Z80 machine code from standard
Zilog Mnemonics as specified in the "Zilog Z80-Assembly Language Programming
Manual". Macro expansion however, and certain arithmetic operators listed
in the Zilog Manual are not supported.
The Editor files may be saved to, or loaded from, cassette using the Save
and Get commands.
The text in this manual appears to be similar or based on the text within the microworld_z80_editor_assembler_for_microbee_dgos_cpm.pdf manual thats already in the repository.
