Thanks to bushy555 for providing a small collection of ZX Spectrum 1-bit music engine players (with tunes) that he ported to play on the System 80/TRS-80 M1. There are about 29 tunes and put onto a bootable NEWDOS/80 disk.
The ASM files for each is not included on the disk (not enough room) but can be grabbed from bushy555's Github page at https://github.com/bushy555/TRS80-model1-1bit-music as well as further information about these files. There are a couple of files that are not on the disk as its already full. This disk image is available from there also.
Plays well in MAME emulator also, once booted, DIR 0 brings up
The OCTDANCE is one of the best to play also.
So in the Vintage Repository in the System-80\Software\Disks folder we placed
system80_1bit_music.dmk
system80_1bit_music.hfe <-- in the System-80\Software\Disks\Gotek folder
