From a recent private purchase, these tapes where recorded at 44kHz and saved out as stereo 16bit WAV files.
Mytek tapes typically have a 1200baud recording followed by 300baud recoding and B side blank. Two of the tapes (Kilopede and Ghostmuncher) where this way with the Wordprocessor tape having 2 x 1200baud tracks on A side and one 300baud on B side. Recovery was difficult as there were many volume dropout that were manually repaired, however, not all were recoverable. I could only recover the 1200baud versions of Ghost Muncher & Mytek Wordprocessor and the 300baud version of Kilopede. Tapes recorded the 2nd time did not fix any issues, so will try and recover the missing versions at a later date. Tape Doctor tape was also included, we have the recordings already but not a scan of the label.
The current version of the Mytek Wordprocessor tape in the repository will not load error free, so is now replaced with this working version. We have the manual in the Documentation repository, so check it out for the full operation of this program.
The three tapes where finally saved out as 8bit MONO WAV files to reduce their size and all re-tested to load error free into ubee512 setup as a PC85. Current scans of the cassette labels were all updated to much better quality scans also.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee/Software/Tapes/Original folder we placed
ghost_muncher_1200b.wav
kilopede_300b.wav
mytek_wordprocessor_1200b.wav <-- updated
ghost_muncher.jpg <-- updated and in the Documentation/Pictures/Tapes folder
