Thanks to kimjohn for making this manual available to be archived. Scanned at 300pdi and converted to a searchable PDF as usual. Its A4 in size and 4 pages long.
Written my H B Proctor in 1983 for Microbee. From the manual -
Provides a name and address oriented data base with lines for user inserted details in each record. Records may be searched for, retrieved, and optionally printed out in full, or printed as mailing labels. Occupies about 5.8K.
Create/display keywords, create, edit and delete records, search for records in alphabetical sequence of surname, search by keyword, or search within a group of postcodes or a single postcode.
Text can be saved to tape for later use. Tape speed is keyboard defined. Parallel or serial printer is also keyboard selected. Any printer which understands MicroWorld BASIC should operate with this program.
We don't have the software unfortunately, so can anyone help ? It would have originally released on tape.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Documentation\Manuals\Software folder we placed
microbee_file_index_system_manual.pdf
