Canberra Vintage Computer Exhibition 2024

Well, its on again this year on Saturday 29th June at the Radford College Canberra.  Held this year in a larger hall at Radford so will be much larger than last year with over 100 different Retro computers.  The area will be divided up by Decades with the 80's the largest, as expected.

A few more coming from Victoria this year and even from South Australia and Brisbane as well as Sydney.  I will be there with a few Microbee from the early Kit 'bee to the 256TC as well as my System 80 with Expansion unit and period Monitor. Will also have my working Amust Executive 816 and I might even take my Excalibur 64 as there seems to be some interest in it of late. Having forgotten last year's event, there are now several reminders in my calendar for this one.

This year take a walk decade by decade to see iconic machines from the 1960s to the early 2000s! All functional (handle with care) and running games and software from their respective eras!

There will also be modern enhancements on some machines. See what the passionate maker community are doing the enhance these machines today!

This year we'll also have game consoles, DooM deathmatch LAN, and music composition running on period and modern systems!

Entry is free, but if you'd like to help us cover some of the costs a donation at the door would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of machines I had never seen in the flesh or at least not for a long time...unfortunately no 2650-based ones, maybe I should set one up next year :-)

I noticed half the machines seemed to be running the "Ladder" game, I assume they were yours :-D
