My "Testing" gotek that I use for testing purposes on various systems, well decided the small OLED screen is just to small, so I cut a hole out of the top and put in a bigger screen. I put the original 3 x 7seg display back in just to fill in the hole. Oh and put in a rotary changer also, just needs a knob 
I've since changed the font since taking that pic and my FF.CFG file now contains :-
display-type = oled-128x64
oled-font = 8x16
