Thanks to GeorgeK for providing a scan of the Instructions Manual, scanned at 600dpi and is 19 pages long. Software was obtained from https://willus.com/trs80/?q=macasmon and files transferred to a bootable disk.
Written by Glen McDiarmid from Ipswich, Queensland. Macasmon is a powerful machine-language monitor Written for the TRS-80 Models 1, 3 & 4 and works as expected on the System-80. From the Manual :
Macasmon is a 10K machine-language program that was
designed to show, in great detail, how other
machine-language programs work. Probably, its greatest
strength is the large variety of screen displays that can
be employed. Its disassembler, in particular, sets
Macasmon well apart from all other TRS-80 monitors.
Although debugging was intended to be its primary function,
Macasmon makes an excellent tool with which you may explore
the workings of the TRS-80, and the effect of each Z80
instruction.
Its essential to read the Instructions Manual for all the extensive list of commands/options available in the program. The Manual is also on the disk as a 2 part text file. A Gotek HFE file of the disk is also provided.
So in the Vintage Repository in the System-80/Documentation/Manuals we placed
macasmon_instructions_manual.pdf
macasmon.dsk <-- in System-80\Software\Disks & Gotek_Disks folders
