The PRIZM Project (Pretty Reliable Invisiclues for Z-Machines) had the aim of making the genuine Infocom Invisiclues available as Z-Code (Z5) computer standalone files. These are Clues and Hints built into some games and/or published in booklet form. The project was endorsed by Activision, who now holds the copyright for all of Infocom's IP.
I've had these files for years but now they can run on the Microbee using VEZZA-MA, thanks to sijnstra, that can run Z5 files, which these all are. Boot the disk then just type in VEZZA-MA SHOGUN.Z5 will start Shogun clues and once running, use N or P to select Next or Previous option you are looking for clues. As with all games, Q to Quit to CP/M. Use only if you get stuck at some point in the game.
The contents of these Invisiclues disks are :
Volume 01
A Mind Forever Voyaging
Arthur
Beyond Zork
Border Zone
Bureaucracy
Nord and Bert Couldn't Make Head or Tail of It
Shogun
Trinity
Zork:The Undiscovered Underground
Volume 02
Ballyhoo
Cutthroats
Deadline
Enchanter
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Hollywood Hijinx
Infidel
Sherlock
Volume 03
Leather Goddesses of Phobos
The Lurking Horror
Moonmist
Planetfall
Plundered Hearts
Seastalker
Sorcerer
Spellbreaker
Volume 04
Starcross
Stationfall
Suspect
Suspended
Wishbringer
The Witness
Zork 1
Zork 2
Zork 3
Disk 01 has all the Invisiclues for the new files released here https://microbeetechnology.com.au/forum/thread-581.html except for Restaurant, as it was never released and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy because this later release had it built in (type HINT when playing the game). However, it is included on disk 02 as there was room as well as Sherlock. Also, the Invisiclues files for all the Infocom adventures we have on Adventure_02, 06, 07, 08 & 09 are included on the other disks. Though none were available for the Infocom Sample disks nor for Mini-Zork 1 & Mini-Zork 2.
Because the different Microbee disk based models use different disk sizes (5.25" for 56k & 128k 'bees and 3.5" on CIAB, 128k and 256TC) both 5.25" (DS40) and 3.5" (SS80) disk images have been prepared and both are included in the zip file for each game.
So in the MbeeTech Repository in the Microbee\Software\Games\Adventure folder we placed
infocom_invisiclues_hints_v01.zip
infocom_invisiclues_hints_v02.zip
infocom_invisiclues_hints_v03.zip
