Thanks to Paul Seaman for providing these original manuals to be scanned. All were A5 in size and ranged from 68 pages to 196 pages long. All were scanned at 300pdi and converted to searchable PDF's as usual after some needed cleaning. The front covers were Black with Gold writing and none of my scanners would scan them correctly (the Gold printing is very reflective) so I ended up photographing them and sort of merged the 2 files together.
We already have the smaller amust_instant_user_guide.pdf manual and is now located in the new Manuals folder. These extra 9 manuals make up the complete set of manuals for the Amust Executive 816 and cover all the programs on the 6 Disks that came with the Amust (the disks are in the Vintage Repository also). The manuals are :-
1. 816 Reference, Communications & Dead
2. A.R.M. Database
3. I.M.S. Accounting_1
4. I.M.S. Accounting_2
5. Membership Maintenance System
6. Membership System, OCAS, Communications & Dead
7. Project Costing
8. Supercalc
9. Superwriter
We now have some Technical information on the Amust as outlined to the 1. 816 Reference manual above. Unfortunately, no schematics were included.
The Superwriter manual is also helpful to the same version of Superwriter (v1.02) that we have on the Microbee disk - documate_plus_v1.5_ds40.dsk. The manual also suffered from have a couple of sections where the pages were in reverse order. So rather than keep it in the original form, they were sorted into their correct page order which then aligns up with the Table of Contents. The Membership Maintenance System manual is also suitable for the same program we have on a Microbee disk in the Repository. If anyone would like the other programs, like I.M.S. Accounting etc on Microbee disks, let me know on the Forum and I can transfer them to Microbee disks, now that they are all supported with Manuals.
Two of the Manuals were "wire-o" bound (which made scanning difficult) and they appeared to be earlier editions. The No. 6 above includes 4 titles that are repeated in other volumes but the contents is much shorter in this manual.
Also delivered with the manuals were 4 original Amust floppy disks and one has different labels, Disk 1, compared to the one we already have in the Repository. There is no Superwriter serial number sticker included and the CP/M license serial number was much lower that we already have also. So they were scanned and included here.
So in the Vintage Repository in the Amust_Executive\Manuals folder we placed
amust_816_reference_communications_dead.pdf
amust_arm_database.pdf
amust_ims_accounting_1.pdf
amust_ims_accounting_2.pdf
