S2650 Line Assembler in the repository

The recent addition of the S2650 Line Assembler to the repository included the following request:

 Little is known about the Line Assembler, so let us know if you have any information about it.

It is not identical but is very similar to the Line Assembler described in the article 2650 mini assembler simplifies programming by Jamieson Rowe published in the April 1979 issue of Electronics Australia (pp 76 - 80) and the follow-up article Improving the 2650 mini Line Assembler by A. M. Kollosche in February 1980 (p76).

If anyone would know I guess that Ian Binnie would!
Someone has a 2650 system but it needs some TLC to get it working again.
It uses stacked 1K RAM Sticks (8 x 2101 1Kbit RAMs).

The website seems stale.
Why not try contacting Ron Koenig about 2650 stuff

I contacted Ian Binnie some years ago and helped him with some of the docs on his site. But the only software he had was whats on his site, not much.
